Excel London & Immerse LDN

Where the world gathers — and new worlds come to life

From international summits and major exhibitions to fan conventions and immersive experiences, Excel London brings the world to Royal Victoria Dock. Along its waterfront, Immerse LDN adds another reason to visit: a changing programme of attractions that puts you inside the story.

A world stage in the Royal Docks

Excel opened in 2000 and has become one of London’s major destinations for business, entertainment and discovery. In 2025, it welcomed its 60 millionth visitor and reported around four million visitors and 400 events annually. Its history includes the 2009 G20 Summit, 13 events during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, World Travel Market and MCM Comic Con.

The venue has also hosted Formula E’s distinctive indoor-and-outdoor race circuit and appeared on screen in films including Batman Begins and Mission: Impossible. An expansion completed in 2025 brought its total event space to 125,000 square metres, making it Europe’s largest fully integrated convention and exhibition venue.

Step into something extraordinary

Opened in August 2024, Immerse LDN is a dedicated entertainment district on Excel’s waterfront. Its purpose-built spaces host immersive exhibitions and original productions spanning art, history, film and popular culture. Past attractions have included The FRIENDS Experience and The Formula 1 Exhibition; the changing programme gives visitors fresh reasons to return.

Make a day of it with an exhibition or experience, a walk beside the dock and food or drinks overlooking the water. Waterfront Street Kitchen & Bar welcomes visitors and local residents as well as event guests.
