Our Work overview

The Royal Docks is one of the UK's largest regeneration programmes. The Royal Docks Team, a partnership between the Mayor of London and the Mayor of Newham, works with partners across the public, private and community sectors to help deliver its long-term transformation.

Our work is guided by three long-term outcomes, helping ensure regeneration delivers economic growth, environmental sustainability and lasting benefits for local communities.

Outcome 1: Prosperity, Growth & Investment

We're working with partners to deliver new homes, jobs, workplaces and infrastructure that support the area’s long-term growth. By attracting investment, supporting businesses and creating opportunities for local people, we're helping build a stronger and more inclusive economy for the Royal Docks.

Outcome 2: Sustainability & Wellbeing

We're working with partners to create healthier, greener and more connected places across the Royal Docks. By investing in public spaces, community infrastructure and the environment, we're helping build neighbourhoods that support wellbeing, strengthen communities and create lasting benefits for future generations.

Outcome 3: Culture

We're working with partners to celebrate the Royal Docks' unique identity and create a vibrant, welcoming destination. By supporting culture, creativity and community participation, we're helping build pride in place, attract new audiences and strengthen the Royal Docks' reputation as one of London's most exciting waterfronts.
